If you’re a patient at our practice you can now use the new NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.
You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record and more.
If you already use [insert name of GP online service available at practice] you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.

Sign-In To Your
With Patient Access, you can now use the internet to book appointments, request repeat prescriptions for medications you take regularly and look at your medical record online. Of course, you can still telephone the surgery for any of these services as well.
Patient Access is a 24 hour online service you can do this in your own time, day or night. It also means that you can access your medical records from anywhere in the world should you require medical treatment.

How do I register for Patient Access?
Patient Access is a great online service which allows you to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your medical records and send secure messages to the practice. This service is available 24 hours and can be accessed from anywhere that you have access to the internet. Before you can access any of our online services you must register for them.
Register at the surgery in person
Step 1. Read this information leaflet: ⇓ DOWNLOAD HERE
Step 2. Download, complete and print our ‘Patient Access Application Form’: ⇓ DOWNLOAD HERE
Step 3. Visit the practice in person and hand to
Step 4. Show your Identification – two forms of ID. One photo ID such as Passport, drivers licence, freedom pass etc and also one form of ID with your home address such as recent utility bill, bank statement etc.

Please Note: If you are unable to download and print the form you are able to collect a form and information leaflet from reception.
Once you have completed the above steps, the receptionist will print for you a Patient Access Pin Document which you need in order to sign up to Patient Access. Once you have completed the above steps, the receptionist will generate your Access ID and PIN. You can use these to register online. Once registered you will have access to the online services you have requested.
Register from home and visit the surgery later
You can also register for this service online without visiting our practice by clicking here. This method creates a basic account that allows you to book only one appointment. Using this option requires that you visit the surgery after registering and bring with you two forms of ID – one photo ID such as Passport, drivers licence, freedom pass etc and also one form of ID with your home address such as recent utility bill, bank statement etc.
To register, click the button below. After clicking the button, you will be asked the following question: ‘Have you received a registration letter from your practice?’ YES or NO. Answer NO and continue by answering and completing the questions on the screen. A the end of the registration, please remember to write down your User ID as you will need this to access your Patient Access account.
Remember: once you’ve registered yourself online, you will need to bring in your ID so that we can give you full access to your account. You will also need to read our information leaflet and download, complete and print our ‘Patient Access Application Form’.

Is my information secure?
All information that is sent to your surgery via Patient Access is secure. Your personal details are encrypted and protected using the highest standard internet security, so it cannot be intercepted. Only you and your GP surgery are able to see this information.
This site uses a security certificate issued by a trusted authority. This is a way to prove the site is genuine and to tell your browser to use strong encryption for every page you view. You will see the same technique used by online banks and shops.
