Dr Paul Cregor MB ChB (Sheffield 2002), MRCGP 2006
I’m originally from Southend on Sea in Essex. Born in 1978, from a young age I always had a desire to be a doctor. I was educated initially at Southend High Grammar School before winning a Scholarship to study my A-Levels at Eton College, Berkshire. After school I spent some time travelling before going to read Medicine at Sheffield University. I qualified in 2002 and then worked as junior doctor in Sheffield before joining the Barnsley GP Training Scheme. I joined the Galletly Practice in 2006.
In my youth I used to be a keen tennis and hockey player, having represented Essex in both at a junior level. Recently I took up running and have completed four half marathons in 2006. 2007 is the big one though as I’ve a place in the London Marathon. I’ll be the fool running around Bourne in the dark after work on a wet March evening!
My medical special interests are Coronary Heart Disease, Diabetes and Care of the Elderly.
