Asthma
Asthma is a very common chronic condition affecting the lungs
of millions of people in the UK today. It can start at any age and the
severity of asthma varies considerably, both in children and adults. Asthma
cannot be cured. Many people have mild asthma which does not require regular
medication, but those with daily symptoms require regular treatment.
However, if the medication is used correctly most people with asthma can reasonably
expect to be free from symptoms and lead a normal and active life.
Taking control of your asthma allows you the freedom to live your life as
you choose, not as your asthma dictates. Our Practice Asthma Nurse is
Sr French.
